will lead us in a 2 hour training / suicide prevention.
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR)
Question, Persuade and Refer are 3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. People trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade and refer someone to help.

Work they are doing in the mental health field. What is happening on Cape Cod? How can employers respond? What are the signs of an employee in distress? What are the signs and symptoms of an unhealthy work environment? What resources are available? How can employers assist in prevention? Share information about EAPs. How can employers encourage employees to use services? Discuss the progress made on the Cape. Share success stories.
Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panelists.
